About Me

Emmanouil-Marios Athanasakos is a Postdoctoral Researcher at Inria, Centre at Université Côte d’Azur, Sophia Antipolis, France. Before joining Inria he was an early stage researcher(ESR) in Anontech Infosystems (ANT), Cyprus. Prior to that he received his PhD degree in Computer Science and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in 2022, Greece, the MSc degree in Computer Science and Technology from the University of Peloponnese, Tripoli, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in 2016 and the BSc degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Department of Informatics and Telecommunications in 2013.

His research interests fall in the broad area of Information theory and Game theory, with emphasis in secure coding for communications and statistical learning. He serves as a reviewer for several conferences and journals including ISIT, GlobeCom, ICC, CISS, Transactions in Communications and Entropy.
