Abstract
The progress of machine learning (ML) has transformed the technological landscape, yet ML algorithms remain vulnerable to minor perturbations of input data. DILEMMA aims to contribute to the theoretical understanding of adversarial ML by introducing a new mathematical framework suitable for investigating the impact of noisy observations. Using tools from statistical ML, game theory, and information theory, this project explores the fundamental limits of generalization and sensitivity in the presence of adversaries.
